  • 1400 Series Plastic Fluted Grab Rails (13)

    Made from high quality uPVC and suitable for internal or external use with 5 fixing points for added strength.The fluted surface gives additional grip and can withstand a weight capacity of 90kg. A 59mm (23/8”) rail to wall clearance reduces the possibility of hand trapping. Extended grab rail kits comprising of a range of grab rail lengths and parts to form any configuration are available.

  • 1600 Series Natural Grip Grab Rails and Kits (21)

    Unique to AKW the 1600 series warm feel polypropylene plastic grab rails are reinforced with a stainless steel (rust proof) core and include 5 fixing points for greater strength. Ergonomically designed with a distinctive grip they can withstand a weight capacity of 125kg. A 46mm rail to wall clearance reduces the possibility of hand trapping. Extended grab rail kits comprising of a range of grab rail lengths and parts to form any configuration are available.

    Offset design allows the user to step up to and through the doorway without releasing the grip. Spacious design avoids the possibility of hand grazing. Manufactured from a longer lasting cold drawn mild steel tube. Suitable for all internal applications, exept for bath and shower rooms. Finishing process includes rust inhibitor treatment. Powder coated.

    Made from uPVC extruded plastic 1900 series grab rails are reinforced with an aluminium tubular core and 5 fixing points for greater strength. The fluted surface provides additional grip and can withstand a weight capacity of 175kg. A 38mm rail to wall clearance reduces the possibility of hand trapping. Extended grab rail kits comprising of a range of grab rail lengths and parts to form any configuration are available.
